Keratheeram Beach Resort


I can introduce a nice beach resort at Varkala named Keratheeram Beach Resort.It is situated near by the admired middle cliff.It's a peaceful place for the guests.Also provide ethnic food up on request and we can go to the kitchen and see the preparation of food.They will teach us if we interested to learn south indian cooking.Out of nine suits, four of them are on ground floor.I am sure it would be a nice experience if you visit this place.They will assist you to visit the places and sight seeing.See some snaps of the resort.

Mattuppetty

Mattuppetty is hardly 13 KM drive from Munnar, bliss for nature lovers. It is one of the embedded nature rich areas in Kerala. Mattuppetty is famous for its Indo-Swiss Livestock Project, where taking care of improved varieties (over a 100 varieties) of high yielding cattle. It is one of the biggest in the same type of projects in India. The farm is open for visitors from 9am to 11am & 2pm t0 3.30 pm. Access cost is Rs.5/- per person. Mattuppetty Lake and dam are the other main attractions. A boat journey on the lake is the best way to experience the heavenly destination. DTPC (District Tourism Promotion Council) providing all types of boat facilities on the lake. The rambling Kundala lake & tea plantations are other attractions in the surrounding area. A beautiful garden with nearly 300 varieties of roses, uncountable dahlias & dianthus etc. is an additional desirability.

Ayurveda

Ayurveda had been developed approximately BC 600 in India. It is assumed that God himself granted to the sages the insight of Ayurveda (the science of life) for the assistance of human being. Scientific knowledge has been conducted inherited from father to son. The eldest son practiced separately after the death of his father only. Kerala Festivals

Kerala is a land of festivals, celebrated irrespective of caste or community. Although the basic practice and customs that are accomplished by a particular religion, it is not surprising that people of other religions who are in the celebrations and share their happiness. The main festivals of Hindu are Onam, Vishu, Navarathri, Deepavali etc. The main festivals of Christians are Christmas and Easter. Muslims are celebrating Bakrid, Muharram and Ramsan. More, there are number of other local festivals associated with temples, churches and mosques. Among the traditional festivals of Kerala Boat Race (vallamkali) has a place of honor. The same applies to the festival of God Thrissur Pooram.

Munnar is a city of tea plantations and it is one of the most popular hill resorts in Kerala. Munnar has made the attention of the public, after the British government made their summer resort here.
